Welcome to the CKRA "Meet Our Members" area. We will be featuring a CKRA Member each week. This weeks CKRA member is Callum Baxter from the Junior class. 

Callum Baxter

Callum Baxter, from Hammonds Plains, NS, is in his third year of racing and moves from Cadet to the Junior Lite division in 2018.  


Callum first experienced the top step of the podium on his birthday in July, 2016.


Last season was big year for Callum - winning his first  Champion Ron Fellows Karting Challenge (Mosport Kartways) and being named Junior Driver of the Race. He went on to win another CRFKC race, the  Briggs

Summer Festival (Mosport Kartways), the Deke  Cameron Memorial Mid-Season Race (AMKA) and the CKRA Cadet Championship.


The highlight of Callum's 2017 season was winning the ASN Canada FIA National Championship.  He concluded 2017 with a podium finish in his first race in the US, the 206 Cup Grand Championship (Newcastle, Il).


Callum's entry into to the Junior Lite division in 2018  is off to a promising start  with a first place finish at the GoPro Motorplex (Mooresville, NC) season opener.


During the off-season Callum plays competitive hockey and balances karting and hockey in the spring playing with the NS Buccaneers Elite.
